Sauvage Innocence (2017)

As part of her solo exhibition "Zefiro Torna" at Centre d’Art Contemporain Passerelle, Ola Vasiljeva and OAOA collaborated with Passerelle’s educational department to develop a participatory environment within the exhibition. A section of the installation, titled Sauvage Innocence, was dedicated to children and conceived as a space for curious activity.

This territory functioned as a compressed playground, exhibition space, library, studio, and reuse centre for artworks and everyday objects. Over the course of the exhibition, children’s games—both inherited and newly invented—were discovered, enacted, and documented.
The resulting collection formed an accumulative archive of social play, where familiar objects and artworks revealed their own stories and opened new possibilities for play and imagination.
